First entry

I decided to try the on-line journal thing. I have been a Floridian for about 2 1/2 weeks now. I have survived my first hurricane, with only a small power outage.

Things I like about Florida:
the sunshine
that my apartment has a pool
i live near the beach
there are cool people from all over the US here
that everyday I see a florida license plate style i haven't seen before**
there are all these cute little lizards running around

Things I don't like about Florida:
the humidity
the hurricanes
the traffic
the lack of things to do after 11pm
crowded parking lots

I spent this evening watching the VMA's on MTV with my roommate and playing on the internet. I still hate technology. Now I have this great new laptop, so it runs great. However, the laptop has all this internet security so it won't let me upload pictures to websites and all sorts of stuff. I will never get technology.
